Effectively securing funding for scientific research is not just about getting proposals granted. In the 1-day courses below, WUR-SSG offers you the chance to become a master in procuring the right funding efficiently. SSG offers the last training ‘Dealing with work pressure’ to help you deal with the pressure of funding and work load in general.

The courses are taught by various senior ElroyCOM trainers, who are all specialists in training scientists and are scientists themselves. ElroyCOM Training is certified by the Dutch CRKBO as an official educational institute, and has trained over 10.000 scientists in the last 10 years.

Effective networking: 13 October 2016, 10am – 5pm (€280)flyer icon

We distinguish between two types of network conversations: 1. You meet a stranger at for instance a conference, and want to make acquaintance and find out if you could be of professional interest to each other; 2. You know whom you are going to talk to and you have a specific goal. Both types of conversations require very different preparation and execution. We use the perspective of negotiation to practice both variations, in line with your career and acquisition strategy. Dr. Elroy Cocheret offers a very active networking practice session.
